I qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in the UK, cut my teeth at American Express, and came home to Nigeria in 2004. CFO in healthcare, then oil & gas. Then founder, three times over.
For ten years I ran Maxtivity, an entertainment business that served 400,000 families across Lagos and Abuja. I was at the till most days, so I know the daily wahala of running a business from the inside.
In April 2024, the government demolished our third location at Landmark Beach. Ten years of building, gone in a morning. So my next company is one nobody can demolish. Software.
Now I'm building Countam at 53, through menopause, with my youngest a teenager. I run on the energy I have now, so I've become ruthless about what matters. That's where excellence is.
